Health and safety course for science leaders RK298 / B44
Summary
Science has a generally excellent safety record in schools and colleges, but good, effective health and safety planning is essential. This course, aimed at Heads of Department, senior technicians and experienced teachers is an introduction to the leadership of health and safety in science, designed to give a basic understanding of good practice, challenge some misconceptions and consider what effective practice is. The course does not replace more detailed H&S courses, but by giving a basic understanding of good practice, it will potentially highlight areas to develop in your department.
The course is a 1.5hr course delivered remotely.

This course is free to delegates from Derby, Nottingham, Northampton and Leicester only. All other maintained schools will be charged £60.
