Primary annual conference - Online NY075 / A20
Summary
STEM Learning are really pleased to be able to offer this exciting event aimed at supporting primary teachers and science leads. There will be sessions on developing language skills through science, taking science outdoors, engineering solutions to environmental problems, working with STEM Ambassadors and using gardening to develop children’s understanding of climate change. There will be something for everybody, whether you are looking to inspire children with links to authentic contexts and careers, maximise learning opportunities by applying metacognitive skills in the classroom or explore how to use computing to deliver cross-curricular projects. You will leave the day full of ideas on how to teach science and implement ideas in your classroom or school.
This course will run remotely with a one-day live event on 1st July, followed by a short gap task to implement in school and a follow-up session held on our new STEM Community. Please consult the timetable and session summaries are below. You will be asked to choose from the optional sessions once your booking is confirmed.
We look forward to seeing you virtually on the 1st of July 2021.
