Summary

As a new subject leader, the last twelve months have been tough and have impacted on getting to know your new team, setting priorities and working towards your development plan.
Joining this course will enable you to get on track and plan for the year ahead and will also pick up on the new Ofsted Science Research Review.  It is being delivered over two twilight sessions with one to one bespoke coaching to allow you to explore your priorities in more depth with the support of an expert.
Session 1: Setting priorities.This session will look at the following:
  • Back from Covid – developing a team
  • What are your priorities for the curriculum?
  • What are your priorities for teaching and learning?
Session 2: Bespoke one to one coachingOne to one coaching with a science consultant to explore one of your priorities in furtherdetail. You may also want to use this coaching session to support you with CAGs or toconduct a joint learning walk – the choice is yours!
Session 3: Planning for the year aheadThis session will enable you to set priorities, actions and milestones for the year ahead.
