Summary
By looking closely at the subject leader role, this course will help participants develop skills and knowledge to lead science with confidence. Participants will deepen their understanding about the primary science curriculum, explore a range of strategies to audit science and consider ways to identify and strengthen good practice in order to drive improvements for teaching and learning across the school.

- Understand the science curriculum, assessment requirements and describe what high quality science teaching looks like
- Use monitoring to gather evidence of attainment and progress
- Consider ways to enrich the science curriculum
