Summary
This course will provide an introduction to computer science at the first/second level and evidence why it is so important for our learners. It will provide practical workshops using Micro:bit version 2 along with differentiated and progressive Micro:bit projects to cater for individual needs. This will build towards developing the skills and confidence needed, along with a class set of resources, to plan, facilitate and evaluate a Micro:bit project within their own classes.

Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- enhance their understanding of Computer Science and its importance in the BGE.
- programme their Micro:bit to carry out a range of tasks
- programme the Micro:bit to receive and interpret a range of inputs, causing outputs to trigger
- access a variety of useful websites and resources to further develop their learning.
