Considerations when planning a curriculum include planning for progression, development of skills and supporting engagement.  With pressure on curriculum time due to school closures, we now also need to incorporate plans to support educational recovery.  This session considers the key features of an effective curriculum but also practical changes that could be made to support educational recovery.

  • Describe the essentials of an effective curriculum and explain how these can be embedded

  • Model strategies to adapt your curriculum to support educational recovery

  • Share good practice about adapting and supporting pupils in your own setting
