Summary
This course is suitable for teachers who are relatively new to teaching A Level Chemistry or those looking to enhance and extend their skills and knowledge and update their teaching strategies for chemistry.It will focus on developing your understanding of key chemical principles and further develop your skills. It will provide you with the key strategies needed to teach A Level Chemistry effectively.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
• have an increased understanding of the chemistry topics taught within A Level Chemistry
• become more confident and competent in your teaching of chemistry within A Level Chemistry
• identify barriers to learning and be better equipped to support student learning
• consider the effective use of practical work and/or technology in supporting teaching
