1. Jess is mid-PhD sponsored by the pharmaceutical company GSK. Her work is looking to create a programme that allows the drug discovery process to be sped up and optimised so better drugs and medicines can be found quicker. So she is in a great place to give teachers great examples of how medicines tackle bacteria and viruses and how science is advancing these.
