Join us for the 2021 Kent & Medway conference for science technicians. The conference involves a full day of guidance and support for technicians including a keynote speech and a choice of online workshop sessions across the sciences.


The Keynote speaker is confirmed as Simon Quinnell, who began his career as a science technician in a London school. He subsequently served for several years as National Technicians Lead at the STEM Centre in York. Simon now runs his own company and contributes to teacher training at the University of York. He is currently the Chair of the Association for Science Education. As well as launching the conference with a keynote speech, Simon will also contribute to the optional workshops on offer.
