Primary conference: Leading Primary STEM in the landscape of the Ofsted framework RC124 / C04
Summary
Our primary conferences always provide outstanding learning opportunities linked to topical developments in primary science teaching along side time to talk and share ideas with other primary practitioners. By attending the day you will explore with professional facilitators and colleagues your vision for science or computing science in your context and how to see the impact of this on the learning of your pupils.
Following a key note presentation, delegates will select three of the following workshops:

11.50am - Curriculum progression
11.50am - Mapping and addressing gaps in progress
01.30pm - Impact of learning
01.30pm - Blended learning from Early Years to Key Stage 2
Once you have confirmed your booking, you will be sent an email nearer to the date of the conference ask you to select you workshop preferences. A further email will then confirm the Microsoft Teams links for you to join the conference and the workshops.

Outcomes
In the context of your school you will develop the skills required to:
- determine a clear and concise vision and underpinning aims for the subject
- apply the key principles for implementing this vision
- demonstrate an understanding of your subject's unique place in the curriculum in your school
- identify the big ideas of and about the subject
- have a working understanding of the four dimensions of progression
- show an awareness of the relative advantages and issues of an integrated (topic) approach to STEM subjects
- understand the wide variety of ways to see the impact of your curriculum
- manage workload, to be time economic and still effectively self-evaluate learning
