Outcomes
This is a bespoke training session. The outcomes have been agreed with the Head of Faculty in advance of the session
- consider the teaching of orders of magnitude within the maths curriculum and then relate this to science teaching
- discuss methods to teach rounding decimal places, significant figures and standard form in science that complement maths lessons
- explore links between significant figures, standard form and appropriate use of units
