Wellbeing and Personal resilience in Science RM298 / D40
Summary
Mid January is the perfect time to address our well-being as we recognise that we can't look after others if we don't look after ourselves during these unprecedented days. How do we achieve the correct work/life balance in an ever-demanding job in the second cold, dark term of the academic year? This session will consider Time Management, Well-being, Mindfulness and Teaching and Management survival tips - all developed and delivered by experts in their fields. One delegate will win a well-being hamper.
Outcomes
- You will gain a knowledge of what the new framework and the "deep dives" will look like in your own school setting
- Develop an awareness of effective strategies to support the new framework with colleagues in outreach work
- Opportunity to network with colleagues in a similar role across both primary and secondary phases
- We will also have the opportunity to discuss the challenges of being a science SLE trying to support collegues during the pandemic
