Summary
A fun and intensive afternoon to enrich your delivery of GCSE physics content. This session is aimed at science technicians and will cover the use and repair of physics equipment to enable technicians to feel confident in working alongside teaching staff to deliver safe and effective practical work in school labs. . Each paying technician is able to bring a second colleague from their school without charge. Email SussexSLP@Downlands.org for your Plus-one ticket.
Who is the course leader?
Outcomes
- You will gain a knowledge of what the new framework and the "deep dives" will look like in your own school setting
- Develop an awareness of effective strategies to support the new framework with colleagues in outreach work
- Opportunity to network with colleagues in a similar role across both primary and secondary phases
- We will also have the opportunity to discuss the challenges of being a science SLE trying to support collegues during the pandemic
