Summary

Join us for a fun and intensive afternoon to enrich your delivery of GCSE Chemistry. This session is aimed at teachers with the aim to bring Chemistry alive for students by using differently approached GCSE practicals. We will address examiners reports and look at career paths for students in chemistry. Each paying teacher is able to bring a second colleague from their school without charge. Outcomes

 

  • You will gain a knowledge of what the new framework and the "deep dives" will look like in your own school setting
  • Develop an awareness of effective strategies to support the new framework with colleagues in outreach work
  • Opportunity to network with colleagues in a similar role across both primary and secondary phases
  • We will also have the opportunity to discuss the challenges of being a science SLE trying to support collegues during the pandemic
