This course will identify ways good ‘level-less’ assessment practice can be integrated and embedded into science teaching to secure understanding about children’s achievements, progress and next steps. Participants will deepen their understanding about curriculum progression in primary science and develop strategies for effective confident assessment.
- use a range of AfL strategies effectively to promote children’s learning
- acquire a deeper understanding of progression
- make confident and reliable teacher assessment of learning in science and identify children’s next steps
