Summary
Royal Academy of Engineering: Engineering in the entertainment industry- 20 free resource packs for your school This course is suitable for STEM colleagues in both the primary and secondary sector based in South London. The course will be led by Tunde Orelaja, a Royal Academy of Engineering Teacher Coordinator. In this 45 minute session you will be taken through how to use a resource pack with your students that focuses on the essential role that engineers play in the entertainment industry. This will be done through a series of creative and collaborative challenges in which students develop enquiring minds and teamwork skills and are encouraged to find imaginative approaches to problem solving, understanding the role STEM-based learning plays in real world engineering scenarios.
Outcomes
You will also have the opportunity to network with a variety of STEM colleagues from the primary and secondary sector as well as find out about a host of other STEM initiatives to support you and your students.
Once you have attended the training session, 20 packs will be sent to your school for you to use as you wish.
You must attend the training session to receive the resources. You must be currently working with or in a school to be eligible for the training.
