Summary
This 3 day course will take a blended approach, being delivered by both remote and face to face training. It will reinforce teachers' subject knowledge of the animal kingdom, address common misconceptions and explore practical ways of extending pupils' understanding and knowledge.
Outcomes
You will:
- Identify practical approaches to teaching about ourselves and the rest of the animal kingdom
- Recognise and address common misconceptions
- Explore meaningful ways of linking this subject to other curriculum areas
- Spark pupils' enthusiasm through an enquiry based approach to learning
