You will explore ways of bringing the KS1 curriculum to life through practical ideas and discussion tasks. This course has been designed to help you to develop effective learning opportunities for the children in your class.

- create a manageable approach to teaching science in KS1
- identify children's gaps in science knowlege and understanding
- identify practical approaches to teaching subject-specific content in KS1
- describe common misconceptions and consider strategies for dealing with them
