SEND Science Hub Network Meeting 1 RC219 / C19
The SEND Science Hub aims to offer support to those who are delivering science lessons within a special school setting, empowering working in SEND settings to discover the potential of the science curriculum for students. It will provide the opportunity for delegates to meet once every half term to discuss topics that are important to them. Participants will be invited and encouraged to network with each other, ask for advice and share good practice with colleagues who are working in similar roles.
The agenda will be flexible and responsive to the needs and requests that are made during each meeting.
The strengthening of informal school to school support will create an effective network of information, advice and guidance.
This is a partnership arrangement between Blackfriars Teaching School Alliance and the North Midlands Science Learning Partnership.
The agenda for this first meeting will include:
- Sharing current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) challenges and solutions
- Science practical work health and safety update
- Needs analysis to inform future agenda items
There will be a total of 5 meetings during the 2020-2021 academic year. Delegates can choose to sign up for individual sessions at a cost of £25. Alternatively delegates can choose to subscribe to the network of five meetings at a cost of £99 per per person per subscription. If you wish to subscribe to all of the sessions please search for:
