STEM Club Network - for West Sussex Schools RM219 / D48
Summary
Primary and Secondary school teachers are invited to join this termly network meeting delivered in partnership between the Royal Academy of Engineering and Sussex SLP. Participating West Sussex teachers will receive free training and resource kits to use in class with their pupils. This is also an opportunity for teachers for different schools to share good practice and receive information about grants and funding opportunities to support STEM education in their school
Outcomes
You will be able to:-
§ Build knowledge and confidence to delivery STEM in school
§ Provide resources, equipment and materials to deliver quality STEM activity
§ Understand how to apply engineering in the context of specific STEM subjects
§ Connect teachers both locally and national in sharing good practice
§ Improve perceptions of STEM amongst young people
§ Support student progression to STEM subjects post-16
§ Increase the appeal and awareness of careers in STEM
