Socially distant teaching RN298 / C21
Summary
This session looks at teaching science in a secondary school under the new Covid 10 restrictions and how we can make lessons more interactive and interesting while remaining at the front of the room.
In these difficult times it is highly likely that blended and remote learning will form part of normal teaching for the foreseeable future, even when students are physically in the classroom. This course aims to share the latest research and thinking in science and will be a great place to get and share ideas about how to make science interactive and interesting whilst remaining socially distant.
Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- understand and apply the latest research and thinking into effective teaching at a distance
- gain ideas for interactive and interactive socially distant teaching and learning
- apply these ideas to their lessons through discussion and sharing best practice
