Summary
Explore how to take the science curriculum beyond the classroom walls in this course.
Discover how science capital can be used to support learners to develop an awareness of the science contexts around them and how external organisations, such as STEM Ambassadors, can be used to enthuse and inspire students, breaking down some of the stereotypes of scientists.
Finally, you will look at ways to engage parents and carers with student learning.
This course consists of two facilitator led sessions with a task to be completed in-between the sessions.
