Closing the gaps: SEN and low attainers RA298 / C192
This course outlines how to develop teaching and curriculum to meet the needs of low attaining and SEN pupils in science. Participants will gain an understanding of what effective provision should look like based on evidence from Ofsted and research. Participants will develop a tool kit of strategies to support teaching and will reflect on how curriculum design can help to support lower attaining or students with SEN.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- understand how curriculum planning and lesson delivery can support low attaining and SEN students
- develop practical strategies to provide effective support for these pupils in lessons to better prepare your pupils for examinations
- reflect on the latest research findings relating to effective strategies to enable low attainers and SEN to make progress.

Participants from outside the UK will be charged the course fee and an additional £120 per day plus VAT.
