Summary

 

This meeting will give Telford and Wrekin Science Subject Leaders an opportunity to catch up and share experiences of teaching and learning over the extended lockdown and now the opening of schools to more students. We will also be looking at the needs of the learners moving forwards.

Outcomes

 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss experiences of teaching during lockdown
  • Share strategies and approaches to teaching and learning for Yr10 moving into Yr11 and Y12 into Y13

  • Identify support requirements for NQTs and RQTs

  • Discuss an approach to KS2/3, KS3/KS4 and KS4/KS5 transition which builds on the best practice

  • Identify KS3 curriculum development progress and needs - mind the gaps!
