Summary

This course is aimed at technical staff and students. It covers the various considerations to take into account when requesting or collecting blood and urine samples from mice for routine diagnostic procedures (e.g. haematology, clinical chemistry and immunoassays), methods of sample collection, sample processing and how to avoid artefacts. The course includes demonstrations and practical sessions presented by experienced technicians.
