Summary

This will help you develop a behaviour repertoire and improve relationships with your students. Sessions will explore: how to manage students’ learning in a science laboratory, how to restore positive relationships with students, how to encourage positive behaviour management strategies, and how to establish a learning climate where all can maximise their learning.

The course will be interactive and provide lots of practical ideas that can be translated directly back to the classroom.

This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course. Course fees vary for participants outside the UK. Please contact enquiries@stem.org.uk for more information.

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • devise strategies for improving the behaviour for learning of students in science lessons
  • employ a range of methods to build positive relationships with students
  • implement an action plan of your learning to make an impact in your school
