Summary
Our HEaTED Network Events are an invitation for technicians, staff development and other related colleagues to work together, bringing their experiences and expertise to discussions on issues like training and development, models for best technical and strategic planning and practice, proficiency standards, and changes in policies.
Outcomes
The outcomes of this event are to:
- Identify and develop an action plan for CPD needs
- Make productive connections through networking in the region
- Share ideas and seize opportunities to develop technical services
- Discover training and development events for the technical workforce

11:30 - Technical staff development plan in institutions. To identify and discuss development needs and delivery requirement

- Supporting technician’s engagement in enterprise
- Benchmarking Professional Technician Competency Level using the HEaTED Toolkit
- Student-Centred Customer Services for Technicians
- Executive Technical Management Leadership Programme
- Facilitation and advisory services
14:30 - How HEaTED can help signatory members achieve the Technical Commitment Initiative. To discuss ideas and actions that will support engagement of technicians and HEIs with the initiative
