Feel more confident when teaching mathematics outside of your specialism. Explore the characteristics of good maths teaching and develop strategies that promote good learning and deeper understanding in mathematics. Discover methods to teach algebra, geometry, ratio, proportion and multiplicative reasoning. We will look at the use of manipulatives and multiple representations, as well as approaches to problem solving and reasoning.
