Summary
9.30-11am Session 1 - all staff - How can WS skills be built into topics and what strategies can be used to assess them?
11.15- 12.30pm
Session 2- staff split into EYFS and KS1 group and KS2 group to put plans into action to address and assess skills in topics to be taught this half term and after Easter. Tutor to circulate and facilitate discussion
1-2.30pm
Session 3: all staff – sharing of ideas. Tutor to allocate staff during the working parties to feedback whole school.
Gap task expectations made clear. Evidence required at twilight to demonstrate ws skills being taught. These should be assessed as below, expected, exceeding by class teachers
Outcomes
Staff are more confident in their delivery of WS skills and therefore they are delivered fully within the curriculum in cross curricular topics as well as science topics.
Staff have clear plans on how they will deliver WS skills not covered yet in their topics post Easter
