Do you struggle to set up equipment for physics lessons?
Have you never tried physics experiments for yourself?
Do you work in a school with no physics specialist?
Do you have cupboards full of physics equipment but you have no idea what it's for?

If the answer to any of these questions is 'Yes', then this is the day for you!

The day will be completely 'hands-on', allowing you the opportunity to try commonly used KS3 and GCSE practical activities. We also want you to bring photographs of any equipment you do not use or do not know what its purpose is and we will try to solve the mystery for you!

Outcomes

You will have the opportunity to:

  • try out many physics experiments for yourself
  • network and share ideas with other technicians from around the region
  • identify the purpose of unknown equipment
  • work towards successfully implementing new skills and knowledge.
