STEM CLUBS WEEK (22-26 June)
STEM Clubs Week takes place next week and the theme is sustainability.
We have sessions for primary and secondary students as well as STEM Club Leaders and families. All free.
There daily themes are clean air, water and sanitation; sustainable energy; sustainable materials; sustainable food and sustainable construction and design.
There are CPD workshops for club leaders delivered by our STEM Club Champions, as well as webinars about incorporating sustainability into your club (by Practical Action) and Eco-Engineering in Primary School clubs. We also hear from Design Clubs about running digital design clubs with sustainability focusses and hear case studies from our 'Outstanding STEM Club' award winners 2019.
For students we have a week long competition to design a sustainable city with prizes to be won, talks & Q&As with STEM Ambassadors who work in the areas of the daily themes and daily challenges related to the days theme that they can do at home.
The full schedule is attached. Most sessions will be streamed on YouTube, with STEM Ambassadors answering questions live in the comments as their talk & Q&As stream. Webinars take place on Adobe Connect, Zoom or Webex.
Hoping to see you there. Feel free to Tweet about the event using #STEMClubsWeek and tagging in @STEMClubs.
All the best.
