Vacancy - Glasgow School of Art 3D Making Technician

Hi Everyone,

I hope its appropriate to post this vacancy here?

 

Due to internal promotion a vacancy for a 3d Making Technician has arise in our Reid building workshops. More details can be found here: https://gsa.engageats.co.uk/ 

You should have significant experience of working with wood and other materials in relation to our core users of sculpture, product design, product design engineering and architecture. The role will involve an appropriate balance of workshop supervision, technical demonstrations, machining duties and inductions.  

You will supervise and advise students and staff in the pursuit of innovative solutions to creative ideas, including the demonstration of the use of machinery, equipment, materials and processes in line with Health and Safety practices and regulations in a busy workshop environment.
