The Mary Lyon Centre is looking to recruit an experienced anatomic pathology technician for their pathology facilities at the MRC Harwell in Oxfordshire. The laboratory provides core pathology (necropsy, histology and clinical pathology) support to the research groups that make up the Mammalian Genetics Unit on site and for external collaborators conducting studies both on and off site. The main focus of the services provided is to facilitate characterisation of mouse lines bred to explore mammalian gene function. The anatomic pathology service teams have extensive experience in routine and specialist necropsy and histology techniques. An experienced technician is now required to perform predominantly necropsy tasks within this important service group within the MLC.
