In this role you will undertake technical duties to support the College of Science and Engineering and take supervisory and day to day operational responsibility for the Mechanical Workshops. You will lead and manage the mechanical workshop teams in the College, ensuring that the work carried out meets the requirements and contributes to the aims of the College and University and services are provided to the highest standard.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience you will also have supervisory / management experience in a workshop setting. You will also have a proven track record in line managing multi-skilled teams.
