0Invitation to attend an IOP workshop
HEaTED are working in partnershp with the Institute of Physics (IOP) to support, develop and improve the visibility of technical professionals working in physics.
The Institute has been conducting a review of membership, which has involved consultation at all levels internally and with members, prospective members and other stakeholders externally. The IOP is holding a workshop on 6 March 2017 in London to discuss the findings of the review and seek feedback on the proposals. This is an important opportunity for physics technicians to have a voice, connect with colleagues across the sector and guide the future of their dedicated subject association. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, lunch will be provided and the workshop is open to non-IOP members.
