Regional Showcase of Technical Excellence - 16th November 2016, University of Hertfordshire

You are invited to join us on 16th November for our next Regional Network Event...

 

An exhibition of technical excellence from across the Eastern Region, including

You are invited to get involved in two ways:
1) as an exhibitor - if you have an idea for a showcase exhibit, please let me know asap. We're looking for interactive stands showcasing an area of your work. The exhibition will be open to all staff and students at the University of Hertfordshire and will be an excellent opportunity to see the wide range of work going on across the region.
 
2) as a delegate - please come to the event, even if you're not exhibiting. You will have the opportunity to visit the showcase exhibits; attend short 'micro-seminars' on a range of topics including the National Arts Network and Moving forward with Professional Registration.

Regional Showcase of Technical Excellence

Venue and Travel:  The Atrium and Weston Auditorium Foyer, de Havilland Campus, Hatfield, Mosquito Way, AL10 9EU

Audience: Technical Staff, Technical Managers, Technical Team Leaders and Staff Development Professionals from HE and FE Institutions across the Region.

Outcomes

An exhibition of technical excellence from across the Eastern Region, including

  • interactive displays and demonstrations
  • micro-seminars providing further opportunities to share your work and to hear about development opportunities for Technical Staff
  • opportunities to network and share expertise with colleagues

We would love to have exhibits from across the region to make the showcase as varied and vibrant as possible. Please contact Helen Charlwood (h.e.charlwood@herts.ac.uk) if you would like to contribute a showcase item or a micro-seminar (15 minute snapshot) about an aspect of your work or development initiatives.

You are very welcome to join us even if you can’t offer a showcase item – please book using the link at the end of the page.

HEaTED online groups

The HEaTED online groups support the HEaTED networks. Please get involved, start a topic and contribute to a discussion before and after the network event. Registration is free and you will gain access to all HEaTED groups when you register for this event.

**This is a free event but you must book on to the event via the HEaTED website to reserve your place. Refreshments and lunch will be provided**

I'm pleased to say that bookings are coming on now for this event on the 16th November and we have showcase stands confirmed including a slection of handmade, working scale model engines; a virtual reality expereince; eye-tracking technology; 'scribble bots'... and more to come!
