Audience: Technicians, Technical Managers, Technical Team Leaders and Staff Development Professionals from HEIs across the Region.

Brief: North East Regional Network provides a forum for discussion and communication between Technical Managers, Technical staff, and Staff Development/HR colleagues from across the Region. The Network promotes training events, the sharing of knowledge, skills and best practice amongst Technical staff and increased awareness of the opportunities and facilities provided by HEaTED and member institutions.

11.15 am Benefits of Professional Registration - Emily Brown, Science Council

12.30 pm  Lunch and networking – various awarding body representatives to attend

1.15 pm HEaTED Update - James Nobes, HEaTED Membership & Networks Manager

1.45 pm Date/venue/themes for next NE regional meeting and evaluation

2.00-3.00pm Tour of Northumbria University’s Applied Sciences, Engineering and Environment and Arts and Design technical areas
