0This course is aimed at providing straight forward guidance on understanding the COSHH Regulations, including understanding the scope and content of safety data sheets, carrying out COSHH risk assessments and dealing with hazardous waste.
The training workshop will cover the following key attributes and control measures:
- COSHH Regulations – an overview of the Regulations and how to apply them
- Effective control, management of use of hazardous substances
- Correctly identifying hazardous substances and understanding their effects
- Safe storage of hazardous substances
- Mandatory information and signage
- Safety data sheets – what they cover and why
- COSHH risks assessments
- Management, control and removal of hazardous (and non-hazardous) waste
