The train track puzzle

One of the things I like about Christmas holidays is the chance to play some games and complete some puzzles. A few weeks ago I was sent the train track puzzle, attached to this post, which I have just had chance to complete. I like this puzzle as it is two stages: first to calculate how many tracks should be in each row and column, then to work out where the tracks should go. I have worked out one solution but am not yet sure whether this is a unique solution. Have a go at the puzzle and reply to this post. I will scan in my solution and post it after Christmas.

Happy Christmas from all at the National STEM Centre
