"Who would live in a house like this?" Interactive habitat display.
Interactive habitat display. Each "shelf" had a different home on it - bird house, a real bird nest, a coke can, a shark egg, a grave stone, a stick and some leaves. Each lift up flap has some info about the animal that lives there (mice, birds, hermit crabs, sharks, lichens, stick insects - our class pet - mould spots). Also included were QR codes to link to Vimeo's of the animal's habitat and more info about the habitat. It was really good for getting children to think about microhabitats, our effect on the environment and the tiny animals in our world. You can also see the weather green screen that we used to film BBC Weather reports (Keely Donovon came in to show us how).
