Brian Cox school experiments (primary)

These experiments are designed to support teachers of upper primary level pupils to carry out experimental science in the classroom, and relate it to real world experiences. Creative and experimental approaches are particularly important for keeping pupils interested and engaged in science, and for equipping them well for the future, whether or not they pursue a career in science.

Each written resource is accompanied by four videos; two with extra information on how to carry out the experiment and two on how the experiment relates to the real world. These create a flexible pack, for teachers to use as many or as few as suits them.

This is the first series of the Brian Cox schools experiments. A secondary series is also available for secondary level students.
